Proxi Inc. (“Proxi”, “we”, “our”) provides location-aware features that let you discover and interact with people and places nearby (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Information
- Provide the Service – show your profile to nearby users and help you see who else is in the same space.
- Venue analytics – share aggregated foot-traffic counts (never individual identities) with venue owners.
- Account management – sign-in, customer support, and security.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
- Other Proxi users – your chosen display name and photos when you’re in the same area.
- Venue owner – anonymous head-counts and dwell-time stats.
- Service providers – cloud hosting, image storage, support tools (all under confidentiality agreements).
- Legal authorities – when required by law or to prevent harm.
4. Cookies
The web dashboard uses first-party cookies for session management. No advertising cookies are used.
5. Retention
- Profile data – kept until you delete your account or two years of inactivity.
- Proximity events – stored for 30 days, then only in aggregated form.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You can edit or delete your data at any time in the app settings or by emailing privacy@proxiapp.ai.
7. Security
We use TLS encryption, hashed tokens and least-privilege access. No method is 100 % perfect, but we continually improve our safeguards.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
Material updates will be announced in-app or by email.
